John L. Sullivan “The Boston Strong Boy” The last World Heavyweight Bare-Knuckle Boxing Champion under the London Prize Ring Rules 1882 and the first gloved World Heavyweight Boxing Champion under the Marquess of Queensberry Rules 1892.
